i went into a restaurant sat down ordered a coffee thoughts still fuzzy with the long travel. with the coffee came déjà vu of the same restaurant the same table the same chair, you are sitting just across showing me your fiancée's picture from your engagement photo which you took out carefully from your purse. you are smiling, in the photo I am smiling at your smile in the photo and you sat smiling at me I still remember both of us smiling at each other. now, in the restaurant where I sat down for a coffee which is crowded in the evening ruffle our smile is just a memory and I am sitting alone, devastatingly alone.
