In a carnal abyss
The sun cauterizes
The malachite trees
Casting a sheen
On a ten year old’s
New Machete
Snatched from his mothers bough
The womb of a savage jungle
His new abode
Like a sinless fly
Mimicking the sting of a wasp
Hoisting his rifle
At his fellow brothers
Uniform saturated
With the platelets of the innocent
Each kill a memento
Of a Stockholm allegiance
