AMRITA GHOSH
Amrita Ghosh is an Assistant Professor of English at University of Central Florida. She is the author of _Kashmir’s Necropolis: Literary, Cultural and Visual Texts, 2023, cowriter of India's Imperial Formations: Cultural Perspectives (2024) and co-editor of _Tagore and Yeats: A Postcolonial Re-envisioning (2022), and _ReFiguring Global Challenges: Literary and Cinematic Explorations of War, Inequality and Migration (2023). Her research interests are in the field of postcolonial and decolonial studies, gender and agency, and border studies. Ghosh teaches graduate and undergrad courses on South Asian literatures and film and postcolonial theory at UCF, and has hosted podcasts on South Asia and culture with Wire-India, Radical Books Collective and SpaceInk.
Previously, Ghosh worked as a postdoc and research fellow at Linnaeus University and Lund University in Sweden. Amrita Ghosh is also a trained musician and singer and sings under the name Ghostpeppers. Her originals, co-written songs are on Spotify and her debut EP titled RED is about to be released in February 2025 with Sugarcity Music Label.

SMITA MAITRA
Smita is an English and Mass Media & Communication Facilitator at The Shri Ram School, India and teaches across the IBDP, ISC and ICSE curricula from grades 9 to 12. She was responsible for setting up the school's Mass Media and Communications program and developing its curriculum.Along with being a Founding Editor of Cerebration she has previously trained educators in art-integrated teaching methodology. She is a Board Examiner for CISCE English Language and a visting Examiner for Elective English.
Before entering the field of education, Smita was a communications and media professional for more than twenty years. She has been an Anchor, Correspondent, Senior Producer, and Researcher, for India's best-known news network NDTV, specialising in 24-hour news production, award-winning Telethons, and business journalism. She has anchored Stock Market shows and Primetime business and economy news on NDTV Profit and has reported on the Oil and Gas/Pharma sectors and the Commerce/Finance Ministry. Following this, She worked as a freelance journalist and editor for Cerebration.
Smita has a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Delhi and has published papers on various aspects of the media and literature. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Education.
Smita is a published amateur photographer and an award-winning cake artist.
