The photo of the little blossom is called a Lady Slipper and is a protected flower. One cannot, for any reason, pick the Lady Slipper as at one time about ten years ago, it was discovered that the Lady Slipper blossoms were nearly extinct. So we admire them and photograph them and protect them also. They grow in white, yellow, and the pink as is seen in this photograph
