Majesty

About the Photograph: By the Photographer
I live in Newfoundland, the most easterly province of Canada. Icebergs that break from the polar ice come to visit every summer here in Newfoundland. This ice is thousands of years old, and took years to come this far south. The ice, of course, is fresh water frozen sitting on the salt water of the North Atlantic. It is wonderful to use as ice for a drink as the oxygen in the ice escapes when the liquid of the drink hits it, and it fizzes. They are a great tourist attraction and many people actually do get the ice and it is sold as 'Iceberg Water' and now there is a Vodka made from the glacial ice. Natures' majesty indeed!
