DID IT RAIN LAST NIGHT?:DEB ANJAN DAS

 

There was a dampness in the air
when I shuffled up from my bed.
I went out to my little garden
and found small drops of water
sticking to the leaves.
It must have rained lightly
But does that really matter?
I shook the leaf
and freed it from the last traces of droplets-
as if, it had never rained.
