I do not have mystical images for you, nor are they transcendental ones. What I have is a dossier, of tattered loose pages, titled Day One, Day Two and so on.
These tattered pages look very ordinary; They even look cumbersome, to some. They seem to offer nothing fresh: the usual “painkilli”1 everydayness.
I will embrace the “painkill” though; I will take those accusations against me with glee; But, also add that they do not know how to read my dossier.
The key is to smell it; I sniff and snuffle the edges to read any book. This will offer a different story; Not one of words, not one of predictable endings, but of a real real “painkilli”ness
Painkilli is a Malayalam word mostly in reference to the romance in the pop novels which appear in women’s magazines. It denotes a lower and candy floss idea of love/romance.
